  • Interior: Seating in the F-150 largely depends on which cab style you choose. In the Regular Cab, the F-150 seats three, but in the SuperCab and SuperCrew® cabs, you can seat five-six comfortably. Cloth upholstery is standard, though easy-to-clean vinyl is available from the base trim on, with leather eventually becoming standard toward the top. SuperCrew® models have the option of choosing a fully flat-load floor, and if you’d like to keep a record of your progress, the available 8-inch productivity screen is sure to come in handy.
  • Exterior: When it comes to bed sizes, the F-150 offers three size options: 5.5-foot, 6.0-foot, and 8.0-foot boxes. Beginning with the LARIAT trim, there’s standard LED Box lighting, so you can keep burning the midnight oil. Additionally, the F-150 offers a standard 4x2 setup, but a 4x4 configuration is available at each trim level.

A new year and new changes for the 2018 Ford F-150. Right from when you lay eyes on the 2018 F-150 it is easy to see the new exterior design changes that give the F-150 a bolder, sharper, and more rugged look thanks to the new customizable front grille and rear tailgate options, newly reshaped headlights, and new wheel options. Also new for the 2018 F-150 is the class-exclusive remote tailgate release. With the push of a button on the key fob or inside door switch, you can easily drop the tailgate. Remember the electronic 10-speed transmission from the 2017 F-150? No longer is it limited to just one engine but is now paired with almost all of the engine options!

Power & Capability

The 2018 Ford F-150 has some very big powertrain news that will have Ford truck lovers across the country jumping for joy. The 2018 F-150 will be going diesel! Yes. The F-150 finally gets a diesel engine. The new 3.0-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel will be available in spring of 2018. In addition to a new diesel powertrain, the 2018 F-150 is also getting a new 3.3-liter V6 that kicks out 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. This new 3.3-liter V6 is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and has three selectable driving modes to suit the conditions; Normal, Tow-Haul, and Sport.

The 2018 F-150 has three other powertrain options to choose from. First is the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine with 375 horsepower and best-in-class 470 lb-ft of torque. Next is an available 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine with 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. And for drivers who need all the power they can get the 5.0-liter V8 engine delivers. With 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque there is nothing this V8 can't handle.

While the new diesel engine may be getting the attention as the most exciting feature of the new 2018 F-150, it is not the only exciting addition. The 2018 F-150 is also the most advanced F-150 every with Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, and BLIS Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert that also covers your trailers blind spot. The 2018 F-150 also offers available Inflatable Second-Row Safety Belts, a 360-degree camera with a split-view display, and Lane-Keeping System. Every 2018 F-150 comes standard with SOS Post-Crash Alert System, Curve Control, Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist.
